Despite vaccination, NDV remains endemic globally. The Hemagglutinin-Neuraminidase (HN) spike protein is multifunctional, playing pivotal roles in pathogenesis, immunogenicity, and viral attachment. Most vaccine strains (e.g., La Sota, B1) are thermolabile, with few thermostable options available.
