• Introduction: Pseudorabies virus (PRV) is a herpesvirus of swine, a member of the Alphaherpesvirinae subfamily, and the etiological agent of Aujeszky's disease. The envelope glycoprotein B (gB) is a major viral antigen known to play a crucial role in PRV entry. The isoelectric point [PI] is 6.1.
